Our employees are our greatest asset! Florida Hospital recognizes the invaluable role of the leader as a critical factor in employee engagement and retention.

All new leaders at Florida Hospital are either encouraged or required to attend the two-day New Leader Experience within three months of hire or promotion. Attendance is mandatory for directors, nurse managers, assistant nurse managers and clinical nurse managers.

A wide variety of topics are included that closely align with the hospital’s strategic goals and objectives. Day one focuses on the critical role leaders play in the patient experience, as spiritual leaders and as catalysts for employee engagement. Day two covers nuts and bolts human resource functions such as hiring, compensation, evaluation and discipline.

Sessions are held monthly. Registration for NLE is via netlearning.
